May Highlights and Upcoming Events in June

MAY
- The vestry is pleased to announce that the Reverend Dr. Bruce Gray was called on May 13th to serve as our interim priest. Effective May 21st he will serve with us for the next year (or longer if need be) as we go through the process of searching for a permanent rector. Please welcome him.
- Special Vestry meeting at 9:30 a.m. on May 13th and regular Vestry meeting on May 14th at 6:30 p.m.
- We are now on Facebook! Click on the badge on the bottom left side of this page. Be sure to “like” our page. Annette and Greg are the Admins for the page.
- Make your reservations for the Anthony Snape Concert on June 23 at 2 p.m. Send your check to the church and put “concert” in the memo line. Each seat is $20.
- Yard/Bake Sale a success! Thanks to Sharon, Mary Lou and everyone who pitched in to make this event a success!
- The list of items for “Storm Survival Kits for Seniors” is posted on http://westoverepiscopalchurch.org/service/outreach-make-a-difference-for-seniors/ Please take a look. We’d like to be able to provide the kits to the Charles City Dept. of Social Services in early June since that’s when hurricane season begins.
JUNE
- Summer worship schedule begins on June 3rd. Services at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. only.
- Parish work day June 3rd after the 10: 00 a.m. service. Please come help clean the kitchen, the parish hall and do other upkeep tasks as needed.
- Anthony Snape concert on Saturday, June 23rd at 2 p.m.
