The Church exists to shepherd us through the pastoral moments of our lives.

Weddings – Westover Church is a beautiful place to have a wedding. Usually we celebrate the marriages of parishioners, but we make many exceptions. We are a sacred, historic setting; beautiful and natural in our colonial simplicity. Our intimate setting allows the focus to be on God’s love as expressed in your new union. As you might imagine there are both restrictions and guidelines involved in celebrating your marriage here. A few things we can answer right away: services are from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, the Rector is the celebrant for all services, and we comfortably seat 150 people. The best first step is to attend worship on a Sunday morning and request an appointment with the priest. Please contact the office for more information.

Baptisms – We exist to welcome people into the fellowship of Christ. Any person desiring to receive the sacrament of Baptism should contact the Rector. Baptisms are normally performed at the main Sunday service.

Funerals – We will be honored to assist you with a funeral or memorial service. From time to time, we are also asked to perform funerals for extended members of the Westover family. All arrangements should be made with the Rector. Due to limited space, only members of the congregation may be interred in our cemetery. However, we also have a perpetual memorial garden for cremains, which is available to non-members as well.

Education – The Church exists to know God and make Him known. Education is an important part of knowledge and responsible preparation for doing God’s work in the world.

Children and Youth Leadership – Worship includes and features our children. Young people also serve as acolytes.
