Virginia Insurance Counseling (VICAP) and Assistance Program-This is a free and confidential counseling service to see whether older Virginians receiving Medicare might qualify for assistance in paying for prescription medication. The Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) has a video posted to the DARS YouTube channel at http://youtu.be/FRRx8jpl3iQ.

“CommonHelp” https://commonhelp.virginia.gov/access/ The web site is an online application for services such as TANF, SNAP (Food Stamps,) Energy Assistance, etc.
