Lunch and Learn Book Study:

Beginning on November 1st, and continuing through Advent, Rev. Becky will facilitate a book group with Karen Wright Marsh’s Vintage Saints and Sinners: 25 Christians who Transformed My Faith.  Karen Wright Marsh is the co-founder of Theological Horizons, a university ministry in Charlottesville that embraces theological scholarship alongside service and community engagement.  The book takes “a closer look at the lives of spiritual heavyweights,” showing how they also experienced struggle and doubt.  Karen helps us to see that saints and theologians are not that different from us.  Here is a link to the book: https://karenwrightmarsh.com/the-book.  The Lunch and Learn Book Study will meet on Tuesdays from 12:30 – 1:30. Bring a bag lunch, and Rev. Becky will provide something sweet!
